Person in charge of personal information
This site is operated by OrdiCloud (9432-4829 Québec Inc.), based in Sherbrooke (Quebec). The person in charge of the protection of personal information can be reached at contact@kanada.site.
What we collect
Only what you enter in the configurator or tracking page: name, email, phone (optional), company, city, province, project description, answers and attached files. We also keep an encrypted fingerprint (hash) of your IP address to block abuse, never the address itself.
Why
To calculate your estimate, analyze your request, reply and prepare a quote. We never sell or rent your information. The newsletter is only sent with your explicit consent, withdrawable in one click.
Cookies and trackers
No advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. A single technical session cookie is set on form pages for security (forgery protection). The configurator draft is stored in your browser only, and you can clear it at any time.
Disclosure to third parties
Your information is only accessible to our team. It is stored with our web hosting provider and sent through our email service, both contractually bound to confidentiality.
Analysis assistant: the description and technical answers of your request may be sent to an artificial intelligence provider outside Canada (OpenAI, United States) to produce an internal summary. Your name, email and phone are never sent. No decision is made automatically: a human reviews every request.
Retention
A request that doesn't become a project is kept for at most 24 months, then deleted. Project files follow applicable accounting and tax obligations.
Security
Encrypted connection (HTTPS), attachments stored outside the public web root, admin access protected by strong passwords and attempt limits, prepared database queries.
Your rights
You can request access to your information, its correction or deletion, or withdraw your consent. We reply within 30 days.
Privacy incidents
If an incident presents a risk of serious harm, we notify the affected people and the Commission d'accès à l'information (or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as applicable).
